Linking of Aadhaar with PAN Card – 31st March 2018
The deadline that was given earlier for linking your Aadhaar with your PAN was 31st December 2017, however after hearing of a petition in the Supreme Court of India, the government of India informed the court that it will extend the deadline up to 31st March 2018. Most people found it tough to link their Pan with Aadhaar due to mismatch in their names, or date of birth owing to which this extension of date has taken place. In absence of the PAN and Aadhaar link you will not be able to file the Income Tax returns. With this extension of deadline you have enough time to make this link.
Linking Bank Account with Aadhaar – December 31, 2017
31st December 2017 is the last date to link your Aadhaar with your Bank account. So if you have not yet linked your Aadhaar with your bank account, you must do it right away without waiting. Failing to update your Aadhaar will lead to suspension of your account by April 2018.
